As we come to the Resurrection Season of Christianity I am struck by one completely dominating thought that I think needs to occupy our minds this season.. The Bible is the only religious book in the world that is full of prophecy. The rest have none. God gave over 60 Old Testament prophecies that were fulfilled in the Resurrection season of the life of Jesus Christ. The odds are so overwhelmingly prohibitive that such a thing could happen, that no one seems to acknowledge it. It is just not possible that it happened unless God was behind both the prophecies and the one who lived them out–Jesus Christ. As we study together the fact that Jesus Christ was the best ever at fulfilling prophecies, absolutely number 1–could that have happened had He not been the Son of God? A reasoned thought would be no. We have no other examples in the world of that many prophecies all being fulfilled by one man in a few short days. Also, that He filled them completely without exception.

As the Centurion said at the foot of the cross, “Truly, this was the Son of God.” I pray He is your God also.  Be blessed.
