Message from Pastor Tom
Summer 2025
Some of the statements that God made about Himself in the Bible are astonishing. One example is what He said in:
Isaiah 46:9-10 NIV:
“Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.”
Two things stand out that really encourage me in these verses.
First – God does know, but He does not keep that knowledge just to Himself. He has authored a Bible that is one-fourth prophecy. That means that when God gave us a book on which to build our lives, He filled that book with hundreds of things that He knew would happen and He wanted us to know they would also. As I have grown older one thing is crystal clear, if you stay close to God, He will give you the encouragement, the knowledge, and even the prophetic advice that you need.
Second – God has promised all of us who believe in Him, that every promise He has ever made is still in action today. His purpose is never defeated. God never has to revise His plans. He supports that by telling us how much He loves us; how He will prepare a place for us; how nothing can separate Him from His believers; and that all that He has planned will happen.
In our uncertain world—I hope you hold onto that certainty!
